What are corns and calluses?
They're areas of thick, hard skin that build up where your feet rub or take a lot of pressure. Calluses are usually wider patches on the soles. Corns are smaller and deeper, often on or between the toes, and can feel like a stone in your shoe.
Common causes include tight or badly fitting shoes, the way you walk, and toe shapes such as bunions.

Common questions
Does it hurt?
Most people find it painless. Many say their feet feel much more comfortable straight away.
I have diabetes. Can I still come?
Yes. If you have diabetes or poor circulation, it's best not to treat corns yourself. Let us know when you book and we'll take extra care.
How often should I come?
It depends on your feet. Many patients come back every 6 to 10 weeks to keep them comfortable. We'll suggest what suits you.
Do you do home visits?
Yes, for NG8, NG9 and NG10 postcodes, Monday to Friday. Please call us to arrange one.
