Why have your nails cut professionally?
Cutting your own toenails gets harder if you have stiff joints, back problems, poor eyesight or thick nails. Cutting them too short or at the wrong angle can lead to ingrown toenails or small cuts that get sore.
We'll keep your nails neat, comfortable and safe.
What happens at your appointment
- 1We check your nails and skin for anything that needs extra care.
- 2We trim and file your nails using sterilised instruments, cutting straight across to help prevent ingrowing.
- 3We give you simple advice and suggest how often to come back.
Common questions
How often should I come?
Most people come every 6 to 10 weeks, depending on how fast their nails grow.
I have diabetes. Can I still come?
Yes. If you have diabetes or poor circulation, it's safer to have your nails cut by a professional. Let us know when you book.
Can you cut children's nails?
Yes. Children under 16 need to come with a parent or guardian.
Do you do home visits?
Yes, for NG8, NG9 and NG10 postcodes, Monday to Friday. Please call us to arrange one.
